How do I perform a soft reboot on my MX system?

This article discusses using the MX Field App to perform a soft reboot.

• MX Series: R920-MX, R829-MX, R247-MX and CHEVRON-MX

The MX Field App has a feature to soft reboot your MX system without having to access the power module. This is useful if you need to clear a fault status that is no longer active.

Follow the steps below to link more than one system together for synchronized flashing:

1. Pair with your MX system.

2. Tap on the ellipsis (…) in the upper right corner.

3. Tap on Reboot System and then tap Reboot to perform a soft reboot.

4. You will now be taken back to the Nearby MX Systems screen. The system will take a few seconds to reboot before it is operational and able to be re-connected.
